dislocate, a literary magazine, was founded as a new media journal of the arts in 2001 by graduate students in the MFA program in Creative Writing at the University of Minnesota. dislocate is committed to publishing high-quality work in many different styles and forms, featuring both established and emerging writers in fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. In addition, each issue includes an interview with a writer who has recently visited campus, an article on the practical aspects of the writing life, and an essay exploring how disciplines outside the humanities can inform the study and craft of literature.
Ivory Tower is an art and literary journal designed, edited, and, managed by the undergraduate students of Engl 3711 at the University of Minnesota. Each year, Ivory Tower publishes the fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and artwork of registered University of Minnesota students.
Luna is a journal of poetry of translation edited by English professor Ray Gonzalez and produced through the Department of English.
VG/Voices from the Gaps provides resources about women artists and writers of color. VG is a web-based transnational academic community including students, teachers, artists, and scholars. VG contains biography, critical analysis, and pedagogical information. VG is made possible through an ongoing collaborative effort between faculty and students in the Departments of English and American Studies at the University of Minnesota.
